Calling all Witches, Wizards… and Vampires! Step into the shadows and embrace the spirit of Halloween at Wookey Hole – the Home of Halloween. This year, we’ve conjured up a hauntingly good celebration for all ages, filled with tricks, treats, and plenty of fang-tastic events!
Our Halloween events run weekends from 4th October, then every day from 25th October – 2nd November to coincide with the Somerset school holidays.

As you step out of the caves, you’ll discover our glorious Pumpkin Patch, glowing with colour and perfect for those autumnal family snaps. Pose for spooky photos, and soak up the true spirit of the season before heading off for more Halloween fun.
🎬 Halloween 4D Cinema
Step into another dimension with our Halloween-themed 4D adventure, Happy Family: Next Level 4D! Spooky, silly, and packed with surprises, this immersive film is perfect for brave adventurers aged 3+.
Trapped inside a thrilling video-game universe, parents and children must stick together, combining their unique strengths to progress through the levels – without losing too many lives along the way! With seat-shaking action, special effects, and plenty of laughs, it’s a Halloween experience that’s as entertaining as it is unforgettable.
Let Off Steam (or Scream!) in Soft Play
Little monsters can burn off energy in our giant soft play, while grown-ups can grab a coffee and take five – you’ve earned it.

Performed daily and exclusive to Wookey Hole, this blood-curdlingly brilliant show is one you won’t want to miss!
🧙♀️ Fancy Dress Fun
Dress to impress - fun for the whole family! The Witch of Wookey Hole loves it when visitors get into the spirit. Don your creepiest costume and enter our daily Fancy Dress Competition (times to be confirmed) in the Waterwheel Suite – with a prize to be won!
It’s also your chance to grab a 1:1 photo with our famous Witch – the ultimate souvenir to prove to your ghoulish friends you met her in person (and have the evidence to show it!).
