  • Due to the natural formation of our caves, unfortunately, wheelchairs are currently unable to enter, although this is something we are working to address. Please review our accessibility information when planning your visit.  Every effort will be made to accommodate individual requests – please contact us to find out more.

Our Education Team can also arrange special interactive tours to create a fun-based learning experience for your students.

A guided cave tour, 4D cinema show, explore Dinosaur Valley and play in the Dino Dig, paper making demonstrations, access to softplay, fun in the Mill including our Mirror Maze and Penny Arcade, a visit to our Museum with exhibits on geology and cave diving, and a game of adventure golf.

Usually at least half a day.

Times and activities are booked to each individual school group.

You can download the risk assessment we have produced ourselves HERE (pdf). Once your booking has been made, you are welcome to undertake your own risk assessment by visiting prior to your school visit.

Payment can be made by card on arrival on the day of your visit or, with prior arrangement in advance of your visit.

We can provide storage for school packed lunches and any extra baggage by prior arrangement, please just mention this when booking.

We have toilets located in the car park, so on arrival we would advise you to use these before you book in and start your tour. There are also toilets located in Dinosaur Valley, the Mill and Restaurant.

We have plenty of free car and coach parking bays. The coach bays are located in the bottom car park as you turn into the main entrance on the left. Once parked please head to the ticket desk to book in, give final numbers, make payment and receive your receipt. You will be met by a Guide who will begin your tour.

We have indoor and outdoor options depending on the weather.
