The Comedy Cavern is back at Wookey Hole for three dates in 2025 providing fabulous nights of banter, toe-curling gags, and side-splitting laughter. Get your booking in early for Friday 12th September, and Friday 19th December.

Star of BBC Three’s Impractical Jokers and Russell Howard’s Good News, Comedy Central’s Stand Up Central, Channel 4’s 50 Funniest and CBBC’s The Dog Ate My Homework. In 2019 Paul also made his debut on BBC flagship stand-up show Live at the Apollo.
An accomplished radio presenter and guest, Paul has recently been heard on: talkSPORT, Absolute’s The Alternative Vote, Rob Beckett’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Football and Russell Kane’s Whistle-Stop Tour on BBC Radio 2. He also presents The Paul McCaffrey Show every Saturday morning on Jack FM.
Paul is an award-winning comedian (Latitude New Act of the Year, London Paper New Act of the Year) and headlines at the biggest comedy clubs in the country. He has performed four critically acclaimed Edinburgh shows as well as major music festivals: Reading, Leeds, V Festival, Bestival and Latitude.
Paul is the co-host of the smash hit podcast ‘What’s Upset You Now?’ with fellow comedian Seann Walsh.

Alex Farrow
Alex mixes science and philosophy in his stand-up. His solo shows are very popular and have sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2019, 2021 and 2022.

Irish comedian Tony O’Hara delivers a punchline-heavy set, taking a witty, self-deprecating look at adjusting to life in England, middle age and the struggles of having an apostrophe in his name.
Bath New Comedian of the Year finalist 2024, Stand Up for Cider 3rd place 2024, Chichester Fringe New Comedian 2025 finalist.

Your Host: Cerys Nelmes
Cerys has had a very colourful and eventful life which she loves talking about to make people laugh.
She performs her comedy in a story telling style with a West Country charm that is easy to warm to.
Cerys has worked very hard to forge a strong career in the comedy industry.
She is a leading mc on the comedy circuit, working for major UK clubs and UK charity events. Cerys has a fantastic stage presence and her audience interaction is flawless.
Cerys performs all over the world for the military and was the last comedian ever to perform in Afghanistan before they withdrew!
