In 2026, we’re transforming that experience completely - with a new location, a fully redesigned journey, and an extraordinary new way to meet Father Christmas.
Taking place from weekends from 21 November to 15 December then daily from 19 December - 24 December 2026, this year’s event has been created to deliver more magic, and more unforgettable moments from the very start of your visit.

This year, the magic begins long before you reach Santa. It's not only in an entirely different location, we’ve completely transformed the journey providing you with unforgettable moments at every turn.
Your festive journey begins deep within an enchanted forest…
There, you’ll board the Wookey Express - a magical NEW 4D adventure that transports you to a snow-covered world beyond.
At the end of your journey, Santa awaits, ready to greet you in his grotto, before a visit to his busy toy factory, where every child can choose a special gift.
The Wookey Express - a brand new 4D adventure
At the heart of this year’s experience is the Wookey Express - a truly special centrepiece and unlike anything seen before at Wookey Hole.
Step aboard and begin your journey together, as up to 25 passengers (including wheelchair users) take their seats for this exclusive experience.
As the train sets off, you’ll travel through a breathtaking, snow-covered world brought vividly to life with immersive 4D effects, motion and magical visuals - creating a journey that feels truly unforgettable from the moment it begins.
This state-of-the-art experience has been engineered by specialist partners in Germany, combining precision engineering with world-class entertainment design.

The magic continues as children meet Father Christmas in his grotto.
