Everywhere was clean, tidy and well-maintained. The caves were awesome and we loved hearing the history and stories associated with them; the 4D cinema was great; we were so impressed with the circus school show; the paper mill exhibit; it was lovely to see the old-time arcade games and the exhibition of the history of the area, not to mention the fabulous dinosaurs! 

Knowledgeable guides that were easy to talk to. The caves are very cool and the paths are sympathetic to the cave environment. When you came out there were animatronic dinosaurs, pirate crazy golf, good refreshments and an arcade of old mechanical machines that took old pennies.

We went early in the morning so it was quite quiet. Our guide was very knowledgeable and so nice to my grandchildren age four and six. The interior of the caves is fascinating and well displayed. The geological features are stunning.  Dinosaurs and pirates really appeal to the younger visitors whilst the old pier amusements and the mirror maze were for everyone. 

Extensive caves, nice restaurant, interesting cave diving exhibition, brilliant guide and certainly not just for children. Also everything was kept in good repair.

From the initial booking to answering queries was done efficiently and made the whole process Hassle free.

I would also like to thank the bar staff who went out of their way to make sure the evening went without any hiccups. With over 200 guests (some very thirsty), in attendance none were left waiting to long to be served. Plenty of stock, Ice etc. little things that made the evening work. I am still getting positive feed back from guests that enjoyed the night so much. I would highly recommend using the venue again for parties of any description. It is the largest indoor venue in the area. A total of 30 rooms were booked in the Wookey Hole Hotel. Again all the guests very happy, especially when they woke to a superb buffet breakfast which was plentiful tasty and hot.

We did the Wookey Uncovered Tour and it's easily a 5-star experience! We loved the social history aspects of it and loved hearing in detail all the stories of the history over the years as we went through the caves. Our tour guide, Neil, was really engaging: he had loads of great stories to tell spanning from the past right up to the modern day, answered any questions we had and just generally had a great vibe and rapport with us. We also loved getting some local recommendations of good places to visit while in the area. Getting a taste of the cave-aged cheddar and local cider was just the cherry on top at the end.

It's definitely worth a visit and there's plenty to see and do here for a fair price.
