 We
are now licensed to conduct civil wedding ceremonies in Wookey
Hole Caves.
We have
three chambers that are available for ceremonies: Chamber
1 can hold up to 70 people Chamber 2 can hold up to 70 people
Chamber 3 can hold up to 100 people.
Each
chamber creates it’s own unique atmosphere and beauty and
all benefit from the recent installation of new lighting.
The
caves can hold up to 120 people for a wedding ceremony.
However,
the space is also intimate enough to offer a ceremony with
just four people.
We can only offer weddings at
5pm as we are visitor attraction and are open to the public
all year round.
Weddings can also only be conducted
between the end of September and the beginning of March, this
is our off peak season, and the site is generally quieter
during these months.
The fee is £850.00 to be married
in the caves, if you book your reception with us as well the
fee is £650.00. We have a fully licensed function facility
with a dance floor and we offer a range of menus which can
be discussed with our catering manager.

 The
registrar charges a separate fee and this is paid direct to
his office. You may make an appointment to book a visit to
the caves and one of our staff will show you the three chambers.
If then, you decide you wish to make a booking, making sure
the date you require is available; you must then contact the
registrar direct to book their services. They then contact
us and we will put your booking in writing.
We require a 50% deposit as the
time of confirmation and the remainder one month before the
wedding. The deposit is non-returnable.
