The X Factor Witch might have been voted off the show but she has received huge support from her loyal fans from around the world.

Bosses at Wookey Hole Caves had to re-think their decision to sack her after over 25,000 people voted on their website poll – should the Wookey Hole Witch go or stay? Emails and letters of support have flooded in telling bosses the Witch should stay in post.

The Wookey Hole Witch is a much loved character at the Somerset Tourist Attraction and after receiving such incredible support from the online poll, Daniel Medley, Director of Wookey Hole Caves, admitted:

‘I got it wrong, it’s as simple as that. It has made us realise just how important the character of the Wookey Hole Witch is. The Witch does a fantastic job and is a great asset to our company.’

Fiona Robertson , aged 25 from Taunton Somerset who plays the Witch said

” I am delighted that so many people consider that I am very important to the Wookey Hole experience and that I make a difference to their time here.”
