UK’s first ever Rabbit Wedding

There is a very special treat happening at Wookey Hole this Easter with the UK’s first ever Rabbit Wedding. However, this really is ears above the rest as the loving couple that are hopping down the aisle for the first time are non other than the King Rabbit Roberto, the worlds largest bunny, and his equally sized lady friend Miss Amy.  

ROBERTO and AMY complete with wedding veils and dickie bows will be burrowing down from their home in Worcester with a few other outsize members of his family.

Once Reverend Andy Hill from the parish of Seaborough in Dorset  has joined these two love bunnies in wedlock, the celebrations will continue with their very own Wedding ‘Carrot’ Cake and favourite Carrot Juice tipple.

And legendary Wookey Hole owner Gerry Cottle can’t wait to welcome his new guests…

     “This fluffy pair are of a breed called Continental Giants who bring out the child in all of us. Who could possibly resist these Easter Bunnies nearly 4 foot long and weighing in at just under 3 stone? I just hope I’ve got enough food in.”

At just 3 years old they are already international stars, with lucrative film and TV offers pouring in, plus regular appearances at the many rabbit shows held at home and abroad.

Roberto and family will be visiting Wookey Hole over the Easter weekend, firstly for the unveiling of Kong, our huge replica of a silver back gorilla the size of a double decker bus, and then to make history with this special Easter wedding.
